Stay engaged with the Chamber's efforts in Olympia

As the state’s budget gap grows, the Chamber is working to ensure that cuts do not come at the expense of undermining economic potential. Part of this work is a legislative agenda that encourages a bigger and more focused conversation about how to drive down business costs and retain and create jobs.

The Chamber's Board has finalized our state legislative agenda for the 2012 session, and we've identified specific opportunities we see to bring the state's budget into balance and spur economic recovery.

What You Can Do: Easy Steps

If you work with a member company that has a presence in Olympia, let George Allen our SVP of government relations know. We’re especially interested in learning about:

  • Possible legislative actions of concern, for the business community or for your specific sector
  • Opportunities for positive legislation, for the business community or for your specific sector
