By supporting CASE, you send a message to elected officials and potential candidates about the importance of job creation and economic growth!
Last year, a diverse group of employers can together to create the Civic Alliance for a Sound Economy (CASE).
The purpose of CASE is to support issues and candidates that will create jobs and economic development. Specific functions of CASE are to:
- Educate voters about the importance of a robust economy
- Endorse and drive resources toward candidates who support job creation and economic growth
- Align aspirations and resources of like-minded political organizations
- Track and report on voting records for elected officials.
How you can get involved with CASE
You can take part in CASE through a variety of different avenues. Options include:
- Let candidates know that you'll be holding off on contributions until CASE makes its endorsements. For 2012, CASE plans to be involved with state legislative races in Seattle area districts. Endorsements will be made after the filing deadline.
- Attend a CASE candidate meet and greet, to be held shortly after CASE endorsements are released. Email us to make sure you're on the list!
- Contribute to CASE! Your donation is the best way to tell elected officials and potential candidates about the importance of a strong economy. You can donate online or send in a contribution with your membership renewal.
- Become a CASE member. If you want to engage more deeply in the political process—interviewing candidates, serving as a voting member of CASE's endorsement team, and determining how CASE funds are spent—consider becoming a member of CASE.
